“The world’s longest training camp” is now over and the 2012 season begins officially this Saturday vs. the No. 12 Wisconsin Badgers at Reser Stadium. Kickoff is 1:05 p.m. and live on FX.

 The Beavers are one of only four teams to open the season this late in September, along with Army, TCU and Louisiana-Monroe. Head coach Mike Riley met with the media Monday and the OSU video team caught his postpractice comments.

 Tickets remain by contacting the OSU Ticket Office starting Tuesday at 9 a.m. at 1-800-GO-BEAVS or online. The Badgers are the highest-ranked non-league team to ever play at Reser/Parker Stadium since the facility opened in 1953.
