2008: Greg may start or be the third safety this season...good speed and a hard hitter with a strong work ethic...also has been a standout on special teams in prior seasons.

2007: Played in all 13 games, starting the first two of his career (UCLA, Ariz.)...sixth-leading tackler on the team with 49, the second-most for returning players in 2008...15 tackles at UCLA, the second highest for the season for a Beaver in one game (Derrick Doggett 18 vs. Ore.)...also a 10-tackle game in upset at No. 2 California., including an assisted tackle (Brandon Hughes) on a Cal 4th-and-goal from the 1-yard line in the third quarter of one of the biggest defensive stands in OSU history - also on an assisted tackle (Hughes) on the same drive on 1st-and-goal from the 2-yard line...made his first career interception vs. Idaho State and added his second at Washington State.

BEAVERTON: Lettered four years in football and three years in basketball and baseball...first team all-state defensive back and second team all-state quarterback as a senior...Metro League Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year as a senior...first team all-league WR and DB as a junior, earning honorable mention all-state in both...also honorable mention all-league as DB his sophomore season...The Oregonian columnist Brian Meehan named him the best high school player in the state his senior year...third team all-state outfielder as a senior.
