1999-00: Walker is one of the better defenders on the team...one of the team’s strongest players...has ability to keep the ball alive...possesses a shooting range out to 15 feet...a good leaper...the team’s most experienced player, entering this season with 73 games played and 37 starts...this is his fifth season in the program...had arthroscopic knee surgery in the offseason, but should be completely healthy for fall practice.

1998-99: Walker started 13 games for the season...averaged 4.3 points and 3.0 rebounds...shot .489 from the field for the season...scored a career-high 14 points at California, hitting 7 of 11 field goal attempts...scored in double figures five times...corralled a career-high seven rebounds vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

1997-98: Walker played in 20 games, starting seven...averaged 3.7 points and 2.1 rebounds...missed eight Pac-10 games due to a severly sprained ankle suffered against Washington State, Jan. 15...had a season-high 13 points vs. St. Martin’s...also scored 12 points vs. Northeastern Illinois...shot .508 from the field...matched his career-high for rebounds with six against UC San Diego.

1996-97: Walker redshirted after being bothered by ankle injuries prior to the season.

1995-96: Walker started 17 games, and played in all 27...averaged 5.8 points and 2.9 rebounds...scored a season-high 13 points vs. UCLA...also scored 12 points against Montana State-Billings, and 11 vs. Washington State and Arizona...grabbed six rebounds three times, including twice in the first three games....played 30 or more minutes three times, including a career-high 34 vs. Washington.

GAMES OF NOTE

Jan. 4, 1999 at California -- Walker scored a career-high 14 points on 7 of 11 from the field at the New Arena in Oakland...he also had five rebounds in just 16 minutes of action.

Dec. 13, 1997 vs. Northeastern Illinois -- Walker scored 12 points, grabbed five rebounds and blocked two shots in OSU’s victory...he was 6 of 8 from the field.

Feb. 29, 1996 vs. UCLA -- Iyan scored 13 points as OSU nearly pulled a major upset, before falling by two points...he scored nine of those points in the second half.

Walker averaged 21.6 points, 10.0 rebounds and shot 54 percent from the field as a senior...also blocked 76 shots...lettered four years...first team all-state and first team All-Western Conference as a senior...second team all-league as a junior and honorable mention as a sophomore...Cascade won two league titles during Walker’s career.
