Three Baseball Signees Ranked In Baseball America's Top 100

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The publication Baseball America released its annual rankings of the top 100 high school players in the nation, and three players who signed National Letters of Intent with Oregon State this week are on the list. Infielder Brandon Martin (Corona, Calif.) is ranked 42nd, infielder/outfielder Michael Conforto (Woodinville, Wash.) is 57th and Redmond, Wash., native Dylan Davis is No. 68 on the list. Conforto and Davis are teammates at Redmond High School, while Martin is the brother of current Oregon State defensive back Sean Martin and attends Corona Santiago High School. Martin is the 10th-highest rated player in the state of California. Conforto and Davis, meanwhile are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the state of Washington, respectively. The Beavers signed a class of 13 players on Tuesday, with eight hailing from states within the Pacific Northwest Region.
