Andrew Susac Named To Cape Cod All-League Team

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State rising sophomore catcher Andrew Susac has been named to the Cape Cod's All-League Team, it was announced Sunday. Susac, who was one of two catchers on the all-league team, played in 29 games for the Falmouth Commodores. He batted .290 (29-for-100) with six doubles, five home runs and 15 runs batted in. He posted a fielding percentage of .990, committing just two errors in 199 chances (no stolen base totals were available). Susac was named to the CCL's All-Star Team later in the season, where he had the opportunity to play at Fenway Park, home of Major League Baseball's Boston Red Sox. He went 0-for-2 in a start for the Western Division, which beat the Eastern Division, 5-0. The Sacramento area native will return to the Beavers in 2011 after batting .260 with four doubles, two home runs and 13 RBI in 42 games as a freshman.
