CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State will start its 2011 trip to the postseason in a 6 p.m. PT game Friday at Goss Stadium as times for the Corvallis Regional were announced Monday afternoon.
Games will be played at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on each of the first three days of the regional, and should there be a seventh game – dubbed “if necessary” on Monday, that game will also start at 6 p.m.
No. 2 Creighton and No. 3 Georgia will open the regional with a 1 p.m. game Friday. OSU will then take on No. 4 Arkansas-Little Rock at 6 p.m.
The losers from the first day of action will play in an elimination game Saturday at 1 p.m. while the winners will play at 6 p.m.
REGIONAL TICKET INFORMATION
Regional tickets for purchase are currently available for season ticket holders until Tuesday at noon. The general public may start purchasing all-session tickets starting online (osubeavers.com) at 8 a.m. Wednesday and over the phone (1-800-GOBEAVS) and in person at the ticket office at legendary Gill Coliseum starting at 9 a.m.
All-session tickets, if available, are $100 for reserved seats, $72 for adult general admission and $54 for student general admission seats. All-session tickets are good for the entire regional, with a minimum of six games and a maximum of seven.
Single-game tickets, if available, will go on sale on game day two hours prior to each game. These will be made available at the Goss Stadium ticket window. Fans purchasing at Goss Stadium can only do so with cash or check.
Single-game tickets are $20 for reserved seats, $15 for adult general admission and $12 for student general admission. Student prices are for OSU students, students from other schools in the tournament and children 3-18.
Reserved seats are located in the grandstands and all general admission seats are located in the bleachers beyond the outfield fences.
