Oregon State and Oregon play in the second game in the Civil War presented by the Northwest Ford Dealers and PacificSource Health Plans on Saturday. First pitch is set for 1:05 p.m. PT.

Ryan Barnes drove in three to send the Beavers to a 7-3 win over Oregon Friday night in the Civil War series opener. Barnes drove in two in the OSU fifth inning and head coach Pat Casey won his 614th game with the Beavers.
Casey’s The Winningest
Pat Casey became the program’s all-time winningest coach with his 614th win Friday, surpassing Jack Riley. With three more wins, he will become the winngest coach in OSU history regardless of sport; wrestling’s Dale Thomas had 616 from 1957-90.
Barnes Extends His Streak
Ryan Barnes’ three hits on Friday night pushed his hit streak to a season-long five games. The junior is 9-for-21 (.428) during the streak. He’s pushed his overall average to .283, its highest point since April 3 when he was hitting .292.
Schultz Against Oregon
The Ducks are familiar with sophomore pitcher Scott Schultz but he has been stellar against Oregon in his career. The righty threw 3 1/3 scoreless innings on Friday to give him 17 in two seasons against UO. He’s allowed just two runs in those 17 innings for an ERA of 1.06.
Senior Day Saturday
Saturday has been designated as the club’s senior day and all four of the team’s honorees have played key roles for OSU in 2012. They are: John Tommasini, Taylor Starr, Ryan Gorton and Ryan Dunn. OSU will also honor student manager Kurt Lupinski.
The 3,061 in attendance Friday marked the largest of the year at Goss; it was also the 10th-largest since the stadium’s 1999 renovation. The Beavers come into Saturday’s game averaging 1,748 fans per home date this season.
• OSU finished with nine hits to eight for Oregon and improved to 26-1 this season when finishing with more hits than its opponent.
• The Beavers are 32-0 this season when taking a lead into the ninth inning.
• Jace Fry has an earned run average of 1.53 at Goss Stadium this season, allowing just seven earned runs in 41 innings.
