Parker Berberet homered and tallied four runs driven in to pace the 19th-ranked Oregon State baseball team to a 11-1 win over Portland in a non-conference game Tuesday afternoon at Joe Etzel Field. Nygren made his fourth start of the season and was the recipient of the run support. He improved to 4-1 after going 7 2/3 innings Tuesday, allowing five hits and one run while striking out three. Offensively, the Beavers finished with just seven hits but drew 10 walks and were hit by a pitch three times.

Norris Likes Those Arizona Schools
Jared Norris went 4-for-10 last weekend at Arizona and has the potential for another big weekend given his success against ASU. He enters the series 8-for-24 (.333) with a home run, six RBI and five walks in eight career games against the Sun Devils.

The Beavers are looking to take their second consecutive series at home against Arizona State, which would mark a program first. OSU took 2-of-3 from ASU in 2009. OSU has never swept the Sun Devils in Corvallis.
The series between the clubs has been relatively equal since 2005. Arizona State holds a slight advantage since that season, 13-12.
OSU plays the Arizona schools in back-to-back series for the second consecutive season. The Beavers went 3-3 against UA, ASU in 2011.
Kavin Keyes is looking to stretch his hit streak to nine games. He is 10-for-25 (.400) in his last eight games.
