WICHITA, Kan. - The preseason honors keep accumulating for Oregon State junior closer Tony Bryant who was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Stopper of the Year Watch List on Tuesday.

Bryant is one of 45 players named to the watch list but only two hail from the Pac-12 Conference - Utah's Tyler Wagner is the other pitcher named.

It is the fourth preseason honor for the year for Bryant, who led the then-Pac-10 with 12 saves a season ago.

He's a preseason All-American honoree by the NCBWA, Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball and Perfect Game.

Bryant, a junior from Kennewick, Wash., was named as a first-team all-leaguer in 2011. He posted an earned run average of 1.52, the fifth-best single-season mark in Oregon State history.

Season tickets for the 2012 season are currently on sale.

Season tickets cost $400 and are good for the entire home schedule during the regular season, which includes 23 home dates and 24 games. OSU non-conference opponents at Goss Stadium this season include NCAA Tournament clubs Oklahoma, Illinois and Connecticut while Pac-12 opponents slated to come to Corvallis are Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Stanford and UCLA.

Individual game tickets will be made available to the public starting Monday. Single-game tickets are $20 for reserved seats and outfield general admission seats are $10.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-GOBEAVS, in person at the Gill Coliseum ticket office or online at osubeavers.com.

Oregon State opens the 2012 season Feb. 17 when starting a four-game series at UC Santa Barbara.
