Koa Kahalehoe Hometown: Las Vegas, Nev. Position: Undergraduate Assistant Coach

Former four-year letterwinner Koa Kahelehoe returns to the Oregon State staff after completing his NCAA eligibility.

Kahalehoe played in 142 games for the Beavers over those four seasons, starting 61. He batted .243 for his career, driving in 34 while posting nine doubles. He also had eight stolen bases.

A native of Las Vegas, he batted .271 in his final season with Oregon State, and in the Fort Worth Regional, tied a long-time team record with five hits against Texas A&M.

An outfielder, he came to the OSU program from Durango High School in Las Vegas. He lettered there for three seasons in which he batted .553 as a senior, earning first-team all-state honors. Kahalehoe was also all-state his junior year after batting .435. He began his prep career with all-league honors.

Immediately after coming to Oregon State, Kahalehoe dotted the rosters of the 2006 and 2007 National Championship clubs as the Beavers became just the fifth program in NCAA history to win back-to-back titles. Kahalehoe also helped OSU win its second consecutive Pacific-10 Conference title in 2006, his freshman campaign.

Kahalehoe lettered in human development and family science during his tenure as a student-athlete.
