THE GAME: Oregon State (10-6, 2-2 Pac-12) will face another Top 25 team when it takes on No. 11 Arizona State (13-3, 1-3) at 3 p.m. PT (4 p.m. MT) on Saturday at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe.

QUICKLY: Oregon State's last true road win over a Top 25 team came on Jan. 5, 1985 (52-45 over No. 15 Washington in Seattle) ... The Beavers lead the Pac-12 in scoring defense (68.2) and are second in steals (7.2) and field goal percentage defense (.415) ... Tres Tinkle has scored in double figures all 16 games ... Tinkle is shooting 93.3 percent (14-for-15) from the free throw line in conference games ... Drew Eubanks is fourth in the Pac-12 in field goal percentage (.631) and blocked shots (1.9) ... vs. ARIZONA STATE: Oregon State and Arizona State are meeting for the 87th time with the Sun Devils holding a narrow 44-42 edge in the series. ASU has a 28-12 advantage in games played in Tempe, including eight consecutive wins. The Beavers' last victory at Wells Fargo Arena came on Jan. 13, 2007 (67-59).

The teams are 3-3 in their last six meetings.

Arizona State won the only meeting last season, 81-68, on Feb. 4 at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis. Drew Eubanks recorded a double-double for the Beavers with 22 points and 17 rebounds. Stephen Thompson Jr. added 15 points and five assists. Torian Graham and Shannon Evans II had 21 points apiece to lead the Sun Devils.

The teams split two seasons ago. ASU won 86-68 on Jan. 28, 2016 at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe as five Sun Devils scored in double figures. Oregon State bounced back to win 75-66 on March 9, 2016 in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas. Stephen Thompson Jr. led the Beavers in scoring in both games with 14 in Tempe and 13 in Vegas.

CHASING 1,000: Oregon State has three players who have a chance to join the 1,000-point club this season. It would be the third time in program history that a team had three 1,000-point scorers. Stephen Thompson Jr. reached the milestone against Oregon, while Drew Eubanks needs 80 points and Tres Tinkle needs 234.
