Beavers Open Pac-12 Play at Oregon

Beaver Remain Road Warriors
• Oregon State, which has played nine straight matches on the road, begin Pac-12 Conference play with four in a row on the road.
• The Beavers open the conference slate at No. 8 Oregon on Tuesday. The match begins at 7 p.m. at Matthew Knight Arena.
• OSU then turns its attention to No. 21 USC when the Beavers travel to Los Angeles Sunday. That match starts at 1 p.m.

• The Beavers are 43-63 all-time against the Ducks, with OSU's last Civil War win coming at home in 2014.
• OSU is 9-52 all-time against the Women of Troy. The Beavers' last win against USC also came in 2014.

• OSU currently ranks 18th in the nation and fifth in the Pac-12 in hitting percentage at .287.
• In addition, the Beavers are ranked 33rd in the country and sixth in conference in kills per set at 14.13.
• Mary-Kate Marshall is second in the Pac-12 and fifth in the nation with 5.55 points per set.

• Mary-Kate Marshall's climb through OSU's record books continued last weekend as she notched 50 kills to give her 1,581 in her career to rank third in OSU history.
• Next up for Marshall is Shelly Smith, who had 1,763 kills from 1991-94.
• Marshall is fourth in kills among active players in Division I.
• Kayla Ellis ranks 15th in OSU history with 954 career digs. She is on the verge of becoming the 14th player in school history to reach the 1,000-dig mark.
• Through three weekends, head coach MarkBarnard has called on 11 players, with five being newcomers to the program - true freshmen Maddie Goings, Grace Massey and Kylee McLaughlin; redshirt freshman Haylie Bennett; and transfer Shekinah Clarke.
• Marshall was named as the MVP of each of OSU's first two tournaments of the year and was selected to the all-tournament team in Texas. Bennett joined her on the first two all-tournament teams as well. Kylee McLaughlin was an all-tourney pick at Portland and Maddie Goings earned all-tourney honors in Texas and at Boise.
