Beavers to Complete Non-Conference in Boise

On the Docket
• Oregon State closes out the non-conference slate at the Boise State Classic this weekend.
• OSU meets host No. 1-ranked Minnesota Friday morning at 9 a.m. PT and then return to Bronco Gym to face Idaho State at 6:30 p.m. PT.
• The Beavers then finishes the tournament when they face host Boise State at 11 a.m. PT.

Against the Field
• The Beavers are 0-2 all-time against Minnesota and will be seeking their first win over the top-ranked Golden Gophers.
• OSU in undefeated against the rest of the field, holding an 8-0 advantage over Idaho State and a 9-0 series lead against Boise State.
By the Numbers
• Oregon State currently ranks 10th in the nation in hitting percentage at .307.
• In addition, the Beavers have had a strong serving game ranking 13th with 1.86 aces per set.
• Mary-Kate Marshall leads the Pac-12 and is ranked third in the nation with 5.71 points per set.
In-N-Out
• Lanesha Reagan, who missed the season-opening weekend action due to injury, returned for two of three matches in at the University of Portland. However, she suffered a season-ending injury against the Pilots.
• McKenna Hollingsworth returned to action last week in Texas after missing the first two weeks of the season.
• Makenna Browne remains sidelined indefinitely for the Beavers.
Aces
• Mary-Kate Marshall notched another 45 kills last weekend to give her 1,531 in her career to rank fourth in OSU history. She needs 23 to tie Julie Leamon for third all-time at OSU.
• Marshall was named to the Pac-12 Conference's preseason first team for the second straight year.
• Marshall has 177 career total blocks and needs 11 to move into the top 30 in OSU history.
• Kayla Ellis ranks 18th in OSU history with 916 career digs. She is likely to become the 14th player in school history to reach the 1,000-dig mark.
• Through three weekends, head coach MarkBarnard has called on 11 players, with five being newcomers to the program - true freshmen Maddie Goings, Grace Massey and Kylee McLaughlin; redshirt freshman Haylie Bennett; and transfer Shekinah Clarke.
• Marshall was named as the MVP of each of OSU's first two tournaments of the year and was selected to the all-tournament team in Texas. Bennett joined her on the first two all-tournament teams as well. Kylee McLaughlin was an all-tourney pick at Portland and Maddie Goings earned tourney honors in Texas.
