
Mueller Named to Third Consecutive Preseason All-Pac-12 Team

Oregon State selected fifth in preseason coaches’ poll
SAN FRANCISCO (OSU/Pac-12) – Senior Timmy Mueller (Post Falls, Idaho) was the lone member of the Oregon State men's soccer program named to the Preseason All-Pac-12 Team in a release from the conference office on Tuesday. The Beavers were picked to finish fifth in the preseason coaches' poll
The honor is the third in Mueller's career as he was also named to the same team as a sophomore in 2015 and again as a junior in 2016.
The Post Falls, Idaho, native has a case full of awards as he was the 2014 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year behind 11 goals and a pair of assists and ended with a spot on the College Soccer News Freshman All-America team. As a sophomore, Mueller was a First Team All-Pac-12 member, in addition to his second appearance on the All-Far West Region team, and followed up with a spot on the All-Pac-12 Second Team as a junior.
In three years at Oregon State, Mueller has amassed 51 points behind 22 goals, 10 of which were game-winners, and seven assists.
OSU finished the 2016 season fifth in the conference after winning three of its final four conetsts, including wins over two nationally-ranked foes in San Diego State and Washington.
