Oregon State vs. St. John’s On Thanksgiving Day

CORVALLIS, Ore. – It will be Oregon State vs. St. John's on Thanksgiving Day in the opening round of the AdvoCare Invitational.
The Beavers will face the Red Storm at 2 p.m. ET (11 a.m. PT) on Thursday, Nov. 23 at HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla. The game will be televised on ESPNU.
The bracket-format tournament features 12 games over three days (Nov. 23, Nov. 24 and Nov. 26). Teams will compete once per day, advancing with a victory. The two teams that remain undefeated will face off in the championship game on Sunday, Nov. 26 at 9:30 p.m. ET (6:30 p.m. PT) on ESPN2.
Oregon State will play either Long Beach State or Missouri in the second game on Friday, Nov. 24. The Beavers' final game of the tourney will come against a team from the opposite side of the bracket, consisting of Marist, Nebraska, UCF and West Virginia.
The AdvoCare Invitational is one of 11 college basketball events owned and operated by ESPN Events, a division of ESPN.

Oregon State and St. John's have met two previous times with each winning a game. The Beavers won the first meeting, 57-45, on Feb. 14, at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y. The Johnnies won a neutral-site contest, 66-63, on Nov. 23, 2001 at the Great Alaska Shootout in Anchorage.
