
Volleyball Slate Announced with a Dozen TV Matches

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State volleyball will make 12 Pac-12 Network television appearances to highlight the Beavers' 2017 schedule, which was announced on Thursday.

Oregon State is scheduled for 13 matches at Gill Coliseum, with the season opener slated for August 25 against Idaho in Corvallis. The Vandals will be joined by the University of the Pacific Tigers and the Kansas State Wildcats for a four-team, round-robin tournament at Gill culminating with the Beavers and Wildcats facing off at 7 p.m. on August 26.

The Beavers' first six conference matches will air live on Pac-12 Network beginning on Sept. 19 at Oregon in the Civil War, which is to be followed by the team's next three conference matches, all of which are on the road.

Oregon State's televised home matches include Oct. 6 versus California, Oct. 8 against Stanford, Oct. 18 against Arizona and Oct. 20 when taking on Arizona State, and Nov. 19 when they host Washington State. The Beavers will close out the regular season Nov. 24 against Oregon at Gill Coliseum for the second year in a row.

Other televised matches on the road include USC (Sept. 24), Colorado (Sep. 29), Utah (Sep. 30), Washington State (Oct. 15) and Arizona (Nov. 9).

The Beavers open the season by hosting the Ultra Ankle Challenge Aug. 25-26 when Idaho, University of the Pacific and Kansas State travel to Corvallis for season-opening weekend.

Oregon State will be on the road for the entire month of September before returning to the friendly confines of Gill Coliseum for three out of four weekends in October.

They'll make their first trip of the season Sept. 1 and 2 to take on Alabama State, Fresno State and the University of Portland in the Rose City, for UP's home tournament. From there, OSU will visit Denton, Texas, to play host North Texas, Campbell and Mississippi Valley State Sep. 8-9. The team's final non-conference road trip is scheduled for Sept. 15 and 16 in Boise, Idaho. The Beavers will compete against Minnesota, Idaho State and host Boise State.

Other non-televised matches for the Beavers at home include Utah (Oct. 27), Colorado (Oct. 28) and Washington (Nov. 18).
