Four Beavers in national rankings

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State senior Joey Palmer, redshirt sophomore Corey Griego and redshirt junior Cody Crawford are each ranked by The Open Mat, Amateur Wrestling News and InterMat. The rankings were released on Tuesday.
The Pacific-12 Conference champion at 133 pounds, Palmer (26-5) is ranked No. 16 by InterMat, No. 17 by The Open Mat and No. 19 by the Amateur Wrestling News. He has won 10 matches in a row and is 12-1 overall at 133 since dropping down from 141 for the Feb. 13 dual at Northern Colorado.
The Pac-12 champion at 197 pounds, Griego (24-8) is ranked 13th by The Open Mat, 18th by the Amateur Wrestling News and 19th by InterMat. He is on an eight-match winning streak.
Crawford (22-7), the Pac-12 runner-up, is ranked 13th by The Open Mat, 18th by the Amateur Wrestling News and 20th by InterMat. He is 10-3 in his last 13 matches.
Senior 149-pounder Joey Delgado (18-10), who placed third at Pac-12s, is ranked 20th by The Open Mat.
Palmer, Griego, Crawford, Delgado and redshirt junior Jack Hathaway (141) all qualified for the NCAA Championships, set for March 16-18 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
