Spring Game Festivities Include Pre-Scrimmage Activities

Following a one-year hiatus, the popular Spring Game Surplus Sale returns to the Merritt-Truax Indoor Center highlighting a day that culminates with the annual scrimmage at 1 p.m. Saturday, March. 18. The Spring Game will air on the Pac-12 Network.
"The Surplus Sale is one of our most popular fan activities around the Spring Game," Sara Elcano, associate athletic director for fan engagement and revenue generation said. "We have authentic Beaver gear that can't be purchased anywhere else and it begins an activity-filled day for Beaver Nation."
The four-hour Surplus Sale opens at 9 a.m. and includes old jerseys (old and current logos), banners, furniture, cleated football shoes and other assorted items. In addition to the sale, the GenBeavs Kidszone will be located either on the Tommy Prothro Football Complex or the Truax Center, weather dependent, opening at 10 a.m.Â
Fans attending the free admission scrimmage will receive the annual spring football poster and schedule cards. Pac-12 Sales representatives will be available in the Club to answer questions and accept orders for tickets in conjunction with the annual select-a-seat program for the east side.
Levy Restaurants will provide concessions on the east side, including beer and wine in the Club (the west side of the stadium will be closed).Â
The Beavers are in the midst of the earliest 15-day spring football practice session in the program's history as the team prepares for the 2017 season. A total of 55 lettermen return for a campaign that begins Sept. 2 vs. Portland State. Season tickets for the six-game slate are available at BeaverTickets.com.Â
