Oregon State continues its homestand Tuesday when taking on Portland in a non-conference matchup at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. First pitch is slated for 5:35 p.m. PT.

Last Game
Jake Mulholland tossed four scoreless innings of relief and Cadyn Grenier roped a bases-clearing triple in the sixth inning to send Oregon State to a 4-1 victory over UC Davis Sunday at Goss Stadium. With the win, the Beavers swept the Aggies by a combined score of 22-3. Mulholland faced one batter over the minimum, allowing just one hit while striking out two, for his first career win. Grenier, meanwhile, finished the afternoon with two hits and three runs batted in.
Starting Staff Note
Jake Thompson scattered five hits and a run in five innings against UC Davis on Sunday. Oregon State's starting pitchers have now allowed 13 earned runs in 66 2/3 innings for an earned run average of 1.75. The starting staff has combined for 63 strikeouts to just 14 walks this season.
Grenier Goes For Three
Cadyn Grenier's three-run triple in the sixth inning Sunday was his fourth of the season, which leads the Pac-12 Conference and is tied for first nationally. The sophomore totaled three as a freshman and his seven in 63 career games puts him one shy of ninth all-time at Oregon State. Grenier also extended his hit streak to three games, a season long.
That Bullpen
Jake Mulholland's four scoreless innings gave the Oregon State bullpen its second victory of the season. The bullpen has now allowed 18 hits and 11 walks – none Sunday – in 32 1/3 innings this season. Against UC Davis, the 'pen gave up just three hits in 8 1/3 innings. The bullpen's ERA is a miniscule 0.56.
Casey Nearing 800
Oregon State head coach Pat Casey's next victory will be his 800th all-time with the Beavers. He is the winningest coach in Oregon State history, regardless of sport.
