The redshirt senior graduated last year with a finance degree
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Oregon State redshirt senior Max Engelbrekt has been named one of 30 candidates for the 2017 Senior CLASS Award for baseball, it was announced Monday.

Engelbrekt, who is pursuing his Master of Business Administration, is the only player to be named to the list from the Pac-12 Conference, and one of just two from the West Coast. A left-handed pitcher, he graduated last year with a finance degree.
Â
To be eligible for the award, which is given annually, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and "have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition."
