Beavers Set to Host Long Beach State in Friday's First Round

Beavers and 49ers will square off at 2 p.m.
THE GAME: The No. 8/8 Oregon State women's basketball team will open the NCAA Tournament this weekend at Gill Coliseum, as the Beavers host 15-seeded Long Beach State. The game is slated to tip off Friday at 2 p.m.
FOLLOW ALONG: Friday's game will air live on ESPN2, with Elise Woodward and Mary Murphy on the call. The game will air in its entirety in the state of Oregon, while the majority of the nation will receive whip-around coverage. WHAT'S COMING UP: Should Oregon State win on Friday, the Beavers would play on Sunday vs. the winner on Friday afternoon's matchup between Creighton and Toledo. Sunday's game time will be announced after all of the first round games are completed. Sunday's winner will advance to the Stockton Regional next weekend.
