QUICKLY
The Beavers picked up their first conference win of the season last Saturday against Arizona in Tucson. OSU has now scored 196+ points in three straight meets ... OSU has climbed to No. 11 in this week's rankings ... If you were to throw out the score from the Beavs' clunker at Seattle Pacific in Week 2, they would be ranked 8th ... Oregon State is ranked in the top 25 on all four events: vault is 12th (49.065 average); uneven bars is 16th (48.875); balance beam is 16th (48.955); and floor exercise is ranked 9th (49.085) ... Tanya Chaplin is in her 20th season as the Beavers' head coach and won the 300th regular season win of her career earlier this month at Seattle Pacific ... Two freshmen, Sabrina Gill and Isis Lowery, made their collegiate debuts in the season-opener. Destinee Davis made her first competition lineup appearance against UCLA on the balance beam ... Fellow freshman, Halli Briscoe has also performed in exhibition ... Erika Aufiero, who missed the entire 2016 campaign, and Dani Dessaints, who suffered a season-ending injury prior to the season's second meet, made their return to competition last week with both hitting two routines, Aufiero on vault and uneven bars, Dessaints on vault anf balance beam.
VS. UTAH
Oregon State meets Utah in the regular season for the 52nd time and the 77th time overall on Saturday. The Utes hold a 66-9-1 lead in the all-time series. However, the last time these teams met resulted in a 196.925-196.925 tie for second place at Pac-12 Championships last March. OSU is 8-18 all-time against Utah in Corvallis ... The Utes, who are ranked No. 4 for the third week in a row, enter Gill Coliseum with a 7-0 record and 2-0 in conference. Utah is ranked fourth on vault (49.245 average), No. 4 on floor (49.290), No. 5 on beam (49.300) and No. 7 on bars (49.115).
LAST WEEK VS. ARIZONA

It was the 21st straight victory over the Wildcats for the Beavers. Kaytianna McMillan once again had an outstanding meet scoring 39.450 in the all-around, including a season-best 9.875 on the balance beam and boasting a 9.90 on the floor exercise to win the event title. Madeline Gardiner, who only performed on beam and floor, tied her career-high on the beam with a 9.950 to secure an event title of her own. Dani Dessaints led the Beavs' efforts over on the vault with a fantastic routine that netted a 9.875 while Erika Aufiero added a team-high 9.875 on the uneven bars.
