Delgado, Griego, Crawford in final TOM Top 25

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Three Oregon State wrestlers are ranked by The Open Mat and two are ranked by the Amateur Wrestling News this week in the final rankings of the regular season.
Redshirt sophomore197-pounder Corey Griego (22-8) is ranked 14th by The Open Mat and 18th by the Amateur Wrestling News. He has won seven straight matches, and is ranked No. 1 at his weight class in the Pacific-12 Conference.
Redshirt junior heavyweight Cody Crawford (20-6) is ranked No. 19 by The Open Mat and No. 20 by the Amateur Wrestling News. He is ranked No. 2 in the Pac-12.
Redshirt senior 149-pounder Joey Delgado (15-9) is ranked 17th by The Open Mat. He is ranked No. 3 in the Pac-12.
No Beavers are ranked by InterMat.
The final Pac-12 rankings were released on Monday. Senior Joey Palmer (133) is ranked No. 1; redshirt junior Jack Hathaway (141) and redshirt freshman Seth McLeod (184) are ranked No. 2. Redshirt sophomore Kegan Calkins (125) is ranked No. 3; senior Abraham Rodriguez (157) is ranked No. 5 and redshirt sophomore Rodney Williams (165) and freshman Bob Coleman (174) are ranked No. 6.
OSU (6-8, 4-1 Pac-12) was not ranked in the Top 25 in the final USA Today/National Wrestling Coaches Association poll, which was also released on Tuesday. Penn State was No. 1, followed by Oklahoma State, Iowa, Virginia Tech and Nebraska. Ohio State and Virginia Tech. Penn State (14-0) supplanted Oklahoma State as the No. 1 team by defeating the Cowboys 27-13 in Stillwater on Feb. 19.
The Beavers faced six teams in the final Top 25 this season: Rutgers (12); Michigan (15); Oklahoma (18); Arizona State (20); Stanford (21) and Appalachian State (25).
The Beavers leave later this week for the Pacific-12 Conference Championships, set for Sunday at Stanford. OSU is the five-time defending champion.
The conference allocations for automatic berths to the NCAA Championships will be released later this week. The NCAA Championships are March 16-18 at St. Louis.
