The Beavers will meet Purdue in 2021 and 2024
CORVALLIS – Oregon State and Purdue have agreed to a home-and-home football series, Beavers' Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Barnes announced Tuesday.
Â
OSU will travel to West Lafayette, Ind., to face the Boilermakers Sept. 4, 2021 to open the season with Purdue returning to Reser Stadium Sept. 21, 2024.
Â
The teams have met only once, a 22-14 victory by OSU at then No. 2 Purdue Oct. 21, 1967 during a season in which the Beavers were tabbed the "Giant Killers" for their success against nationally ranked opponents.
Â
The contests with Purdue come on the heels of a two-game home-and-home series with Minnesota that was completed during the 2016 and 2017 seasons and a similar two-game pact with Wisconsin in 2011 and '12. OSU also played at Michigan in 2015 and will travel to Ohio State for the 2018 season opener.
Â
The remainder of the 2021 schedule includes non-conference games with Hawai'i and Idaho at Reser Stadium as well as Pac-12 home dates with Arizona State, Stanford, Washington and Utah. The 2024 slate features additional home games with Fresno State, Arizona, California, Colorado, Washington State and Oregon – OSU still has one non-conference date open.
Â
Season tickets, for renewal or new purchasers, are available for the 2018 season at osubeavers.com or by calling 541-737-2050.
