Beavers Set to Go Beyond the Classroom vs. Tigers

THE GAME: The No. 17 ranked Oregon State women's basketball team will host its annual Beavers Beyond the Classroom game on Wednesday, as the Beavers take on Savannah State at 11 a.m.

WHAT'S COMING UP: Wednesday's game is the second in a string of six-straight games in the state of Oregon. The Beavers will host UC Santa Barbara in the Dam City Classic, Saturday evening at the Moda Center.

OSU VS. SAVANNAH STATE: Wednesday will mark the first ever meeting between Oregon State and Savannah State.

BEAVERS BEYOND THE CLASSROOM: Oregon State will host its sixth Beavers Beyond the Classroom game this week. The Beavers have consistantly drawn large crowds for the event, highlighted by an attendance of 7,824 in 2015. Last season's crowd was 5,168, limited by inclement weather on gameday.

QUICK HITTERS:
- Oregon State is 96-17 since the start of the 2014-15 season.
- OSU won the Maui Jim Maui Classic last week, going undefeated at the event (which the Beavers host) for the second-straight year.
- The Beavers' three highest win totals have all come over the last three seasons (27 in 2014-15, 32 in 2015-16, 31 in 2016-17).
- OSU has made the tournament in four-straight seasons, and has reached the Sweet 16 in back-to-back years, including a Final Four run in 2016.
