Oregon State Wrestling Ready for Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State wrestling team will compete in the annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational this Friday and Saturday. One of the nation's premier tournaments, it will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Beavers (2-0) will take the same lineup that started in a 32-9 win over George Mason on Nov. 16, their most recent dual. The Beavers partook in the Navy Classic on Nov. 18 which saw redshirt junior 197-pounder Corey Griego take first place. Cody Crawford and Seth McLeod each finished in fifth.
Oregon State took 16th place at the 2016 CKLV Invite scoring 34 points, with Griego and Beaver alum Joey Delgado each earning fifth place.
OSU's projected starters are Devan Turner (4-2, 133); Jack Hathaway (5-2, 141); Kurt Mode (3-2, 149); Hunter Willits (5-2, 157); Billy Bigelow (2-3, 165); Myles Terry (2-2, 174), Seth McLeod (7-1, 184); Corey Griego (7-0, 197); Cody Crawford (7-1, HWT).
 46-Division I teams will be in attendance with over 100 individually ranked wrestlers. Nine of the nation's top 20 teams will be in action including Ohio State, Michigan, Arizona State, Virginia Tech Minnesota, Nebraska, Northern Iowa, Wyoming, North Carolina, Cornell and more.
The Beavers next dual meet is Dec. 10, at currently ranked No. 9 Michigan. The Reno Tournament of Champions (Dec. 17) and the Midlands Invitational (Dec. 29-30) conclude competition for the calendar year.
Oregon State begins Pacific-12 Conference action on the road against Arizona State on Saturday, Jan. 20. The Sun Devils won the conference championship in 2017.
This year's Pac-12 Championships are hosted by the Beavers on Feb. 25 in Gill Coliseum. The NCAA Championships are March 15-17 in Cleveland, Ohio.
