
Mueller and Krening Named Scholar Athletes of the Month

Duo are second student-athletes of the month for 2017-18
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State Athletics is proud to announce senior Timmy Mueller (Post Falls, Idaho) and redshirt freshman Jada Krening (Portland, Ore.) have been named November Scholar Athletes of the Month.
Krening, a political science major, has yet to see the field in her Oregon State career. Before coming to Corvallis, she was a standout performer at Parkrose High School, where she tallied 27 goals in her senior season. Krening also played with the Portland Thorns Academy.
The OSU women's soccer program wrapped up its season last week with a 1-0 win over Oregon.
Mueller, a biohealth sciences major, has garnered numerous accolades over his four-year career in the Orange and Black. Most notably, Mueller took home the 2014 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year award and has been named to three All-Pac-12 teams, two Pac-12 All-Academic teams, two All-Far West Region teams and was part of the 2014 College Soccer News Freshman All-America team.
The OSU men's soccer team ended its season this week with a 4-3 win over No. 20 Washington. Mueller closed his storied career with 23 goals and 10 assists in 67 career appearances on the pitch.
Student-athletes are selected each month and are coordinated by the Academics for Student-Athletes staff.
