KONA, Hawai'i – Freshman Ellie Slama led the Oregon State women's golf team once again after an opening 36 holes at the Pac-12 Preview on Monday.

Slama, who won an individual title at the team's last event, shot a 1-over 72-75--147 at the par-73, 6,372-yard Nanea Golf Club to put her in a tie for 11th place in the 57-player field.

The Beavers are tied with rival Oregon for ninth place with a 28-over 612 in a field that features seven teams ranked among the top 40 in the nation.

The final round of the two-day, 54-hole tournament begins at 10:30 a.m. PT on Tuesday and live scoring is available at golfstat.com.

Slama, a native of Salem, Ore., became the 17th Oregon State golfer to win an individual title when she claimed medalist honors at the Ron Moore Invitational two weeks ago with a program record three-round score of 11-under 205.

Junior Haley Nist is tied for 40th place with an 8-over 76-78--154 and senior Susie Cavanagh sits in sole 49th with an 11-over 76-81--157. Junior Olivia Benzin (81-77) and sophomore Nicole Schroeder (80-78) are both tied for 50th place with a 12-over 158.

No. 2 UCLA (20-under 564) holds a commanding 11-stroke lead over Stanford (9-under 575) and Andrea Lee of Stanford (9-under 137) has a slim two-stroke advantage over Lilia Vu of UCLA (7-under 139).
