Oregon State University Interim Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator Marianne Vydra announced Friday the promotion of Sara Elcano to associate athletic director for fan engagement and revenue generation.
Elcano is responsible for the strategic plan and execution of the marketing, fan engagement and ticket units. Specifically, she will lead revenue generation, brand management, marketing and fan experience.Â
"Sara has done an incredible job since her arrival at Oregon State and is well respected by her peers across the country and coworkers," Vydra said. "She's an innovator, a great teammate and has tremendous passion for everything she sets her mind to. I'm excited to broaden Sara's scope of responsibility so she can make an even greater impact in the growth of Beaver Athletics."
Elcano has spent the last two years as the Beavers' assistant athletic director for marketing after serving two years as the director of marketing and promotions. Â Elcano initially arrived at OSU in December of 2010 as the assistant director for athletic operations, a position she held through March of 2013.
