Beavers Ready For Saturday’s Civil War

THE GAME: Oregon State (4-13, 0-4 Pac-12) heads to Eugene to face No. 13 Oregon (15-2, 4-0) at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at Matthew Knight Arena in the 347th edition of the Civil War.

The Civil War Rivalry Series is presented by PacificSource Health Plans, Spirit Mountain Casino, Safeway/Albertsons and Your Local Toyota Dealers.

The Beavers have defeated the Ducks 186 times, the third-most wins against a single team in NCAA history (Kansas has 192 wins over Kansas State; Washington has defeated Oregon 189 times).

The teams split the series last year with each winning on their home court. Oregon State won the first game, 70-57, at Gill Coliseum on Jan. 3 and Oregon won the second meeting, 91-81, on Feb. 20 at Matthew Knight Arena. Tres Tinkle averaged 21.0 points in the two Civil War games last season and Drew Eubanks is the only Beaver on the current roster to start both of them.
