FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Redshirt freshman 149-pounder Bryce Parson and freshman 141-pounder Zack Wigzell each placed second on Sunday to lead the Oregon State wrestling team at the Mike Clock Open at Pacific University.

Parson lost 8-2 to Josh Reyes of Clackamas Community College in the finals. Wigzell fell 22-5 to Kurt Mode of CCC in his championship match, and also went 4-1.

Hans Rockwell (141), Collbran Meeker (165), Weston Dobler (174) and heavyweight Jimmy Millea each took fourth place.

Many of the projected starters for OSU's season-opening duals against Appalachian State and Duke in Boone, N.C., on Nov. 12 did not compete on Sunday.
