Fans Guide to Following the Beavers Football OSU will have several changes and additions to the radio and television line-up for 2008 football season highlighted by the most games televised in the history. Here is a fans guide to following the Beavers on radio, television and osubeavers.com this fall.
Television
The Pac-10 Conference has TV contracts with ABC, FSN, ESPN/ESPN 2 and Versus. Regionally the Beavers partner with FSN Northwest for live games and two produced shows, With outstanding distribution on both cable and satellite systems, FSN NW is available in one million households in the state of Oregon, 3.4 million in Pacific Northwest and 30 million nationally where FSN is available on most cable and satellite systems. FSN Northwest will air games available during the season within an open Pac-10 window (No Pac-10 team can televise or video webcast their game if the kickoff time is at the same time as the exclusive Pac-10 windows (there is a 3 hour exclusive window around each Pac-10 time slot. Open local telecast windows vary from week to week and are usually selected in 6/12 day windows by the Pac-10).

Beavers All Access - Now airing every Tuesday this popular magazine show covers football and all action for OSU sports with scores and in-depth features on student-athletes, coaches and all access into the program. Beavers All Access airs on FSN NW every Tuesday (up from Wednesdays last year). Beavers All Access will not be taped live on location for 2008-09.
Beavers Q&A - Mike Riley and players weekly press conferences for Mike Riley will air tape-delay on FSN NW on Wednesdays
KEZI 9 Coverage- Chambers stations throughout the state, highlighted by KEZI 9 in Eugene will include a heavy dose of Beaver coverage in news and sports programming throughout the year. Radio
The Beavers enjoy the most extensive radio package in the Pac-10 airing more total hours (live play-by-play and shows). Beaver Sports Properties (BSP)-Learfield Sports manages the Beaver Sports Radio Network, which airs football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball games, and weekly Beaver Sports Talk. In Portland, the state's largest metro, KPAM 860 (AM) serves as flagship (and will add baseball to the impressive schedule of Beaver play-by-play) with all-sports station KEJO 1240 AM - Joe Radio covering the Beavers in the Corvallis area.
Mike Parker serves as the Voice of the Beavers and is joined by OSU Hall-of-Famer Jim Wilson, Todd Mansfield, Steve Preece and KPAM’s Ron Callan for football. Parker calls men’s basketball along with bring his classic voice to the two-time national champions for baseball with Wilson joining for select games. Callan also calls baseball early in the season.
Women's basketball and post-season softball are carried on KEJO's sister stations KLOO 1340-AM or KKTH 990-AM. Mansfield and Callan call games for LaVonda Wagner’s program. For the first time in history OSU women’s hoops will air in the Portland market in 2008-09 with KPAM’s sister station KKAD (1550 AM) airing over 10 games.
The two-time baseball national champions carry title-size radio programming with all games airing in Portland, Corvallis, Bend, Medford, Eugene, Salem and Roseburg. Portland flagship KPAM 860 begins full and exclusive coverage in 2009 with all games airing on either KPAM 860 (all Friday, Saturday and Sunday games) or sister station KKAD 1550 (weekday games). The Beavers are the only Pac-10 school and one of very few elite programs in the nation who offer live play-by-play (non-student radio) of every game across multi-markets.
Beaver Sports Talk - The hour-long coaches show will move to Thursday for football season (starting in October, 2008) and return to its regular time on Tuesdays for hoops and baseball season. Beaver Sports Talk is open to the public and takes place across from campus at McMenamins in Corvallis. Fans can call-in the show at 1-877-600-6433.
Joe Beaver Show - During the year the Joe Beaver Show on 1240 KEJO (Mon-Fri 12 2 p.m.) will include newly added “Beaver Authentics Thursdays” feature. Every Thursday the show will be sponsored by the new online and game-day store for Oregon State Athletics Beaver Authentics. KEJO hosts will give away t-shirts, polos, hats and the latest apparel from the new store to listeners throughout the year courtesy of . Sales from Beaver Authentics directly supports OSU Athletics and its mission of providing opportunities and developing leaders everyday for all 17-sports and over 500 student-athletes.
Bob in the Morning on KPAM 860 - KPAM sports director Ron Callan and Portland radio icon Bob Miller interview Mike Riley and other Beaver coaches each week on the "Bob in the Morning Show" around 8:20 a.m. Show airs from 6 - 9 p.m. on KPAM 860.
Beavers in Spanish - Vamos Castores! (Let's Go Beavers in Spanish). OSU Athletics has one of the most extensive Hispanic sports marketing program of any college in the country. Oregon and areas of Washington register a Hispanic population of between 8-10%. In 2003, Oregon State made history by becoming the first Pacific Northwest school to offer Spanish-language to the Latino community when they broadcast Beaver football games to Portland's Hispanic population. Today Churchill Media, LLC, of Eugene airs every football game and select baseball games over the in Eugene-KXQR 66-AM, Portland-KXPD 1040-AM and Yakima, WA-KLES 101.7-FM. Juan De Dios Andrade calls Oregon State sports on LaX sports network.
Beavers on Satellite - XM Radio is the official partner of the Pac-10 Conference. XM (Channels 190-194) will offer every Beaver football, men's basketball and a select schedule of women’s basketball and baseball games. Follow this link for programming and information for XM Radio.

Beaver Nation Online - (BNO) the premium audio/visual service of osubeavers.com and Yahoo! Sports offer audio of all football, men’s and women’s basketball and baseball games and Beaver Sports Talk weekly radio show.

BNO only airs free replays of television shows (Beavers All Access and Beavers Q&A), special interviews with coaches and student-athlete’s from all 17 OSU sports and classic games and replays on-demand for subscribers to access at their leisure. Several live webcasts are also available for gymnastics and baseball.
GameWatcher - Live stats are available on osubeavers.com through for football, men's basketball, women's basketball, softball and baseball. GameWatcher will be offered for all OSU home games and select away games on osubeavers.com, which is powered by Jump TV. If the Beavers travel to a school that also partners with Jump TV GameWatcher will be available.
