Lyle Moevao is in his second season in an offensive quality control role, and fourth season overall, for the Oregon State coaching staff.
Moevao was previously an associate student intern working primarily with the Beavers’ quarterbacks in 2013 and ’14.
As a student-athlete from 2006-09, Moevao earned three letters for the Beavers and finished his career as one of the most successful quarterbacks in OSU history going 11-4 as a starter. He finished his OSU career ranked in the top 10 in school history with 3,410 passing yards and 21 touchdowns. A pair of injuries ended his career after a single pass during his senior year following a Pac-10 Honorable Mention season as a junior.
Following Moevao’s collegiate career, he played the 2011 season in Paris for the La Cournueve Flash. In 2012, he played for the Elecom Finies in Osaka, Japan.
He completed his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Oregon State University in 2009.
