Oregon State has added linebacker Kyle Haley to the football roster, head coach Mike Riley announced Thursday.
Haley, a scholarship player for the Beavers, arrives on the OSU campus after playing one season at Golden West Community College in Huntington Beach, Calif. As a true freshman last year Haley had 56 tackles, including 3.5 for loss and an interception.
Haley is a 2011 graduate of Western High School in Anaheim, Calif., and did not enroll at Golden West until winter term of 2013. He has three years of playing eligibility remaining to be completed in a four-year period.
Oregon State returns to the practice field Mon., Aug. 4 at 10:20 a.m. in preparation for the 2014 season that begins Aug. 30 against Portland State.

The remainder of the home slate includes Portland State, San Diego State, Utah, California, Washington State and Arizona State.
