Senior-to-be Katie Low was featured as Oregon State the Women's Rowing Everyday Champion for the 2013-14 season.

She began her rowing career as a freshman in the Beavers’ novice program and with hard work, earned a full-time spot in the Varsity 8 boat this season.

Low, a native of Bend, Ore., grew up playing sports, specifically competing in track and field in high school. Coming into college, Low had no idea what rowing was, but now finds herself as a passionate member of the Oregon State Rowing family.

Double-majoring in Zoology and Fisheries and Wildlife, Low sees herself doing research in animal behavior and conservation after her time at OSU.
