Kibby Leads Beavers at Pac-12 Championships

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Senior Crystal Kibby led the Oregon State swimming team with an 18th place finish in the 100 breaststroke, as the Beavers competed in the third day of the Pac-12 Championships  Friday in Federal Way, Wash. Kibby finished with a time of 1:02.70.

Sophomore Sammy Harrison followed her record-breaking Thursday performance with a 23rd-place finish in the 200 freestyle, stopping the clock in 1:48.88.

Senior Aya Fujimura finished 29th in the 100 butterfly (56.04) and 41st in the 200 freestyle (1:54.33), while freshman Brooke Meyer placed 30th in the 100 butterfly (56.24) and classmate Czsarina Isleta took 30th in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.12). Sophomore Amani Amr stopped the clock in 56.49 in the 100 backstroke, good for 31st, and classmate Constance Toulemonde finished 31st in the 100 butterfly (56.27).

Freshman Chelsea Chan took 35th in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.50), and sophomore Dakota Bloch finished 35th in the 200 freestyle (1:52.05).

The Pac-12 Championships will conclude tomorrow.
