FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - The Oregon State swiming team competed in a pair of relays Wednesday night, in the first day of the Pac-12 Championships in Federal Way, Wash.

The 200 medley relay squad of sophomore Amani Amr, sophomore Constance Toulemonde, freshman Sophie MacEwan and senior Crystal Kibby finished event with a time of 1:43.58, placing them eighth among scoring relay teams. The 800 freestyle relay team of freshmen Andrea Young, sophomore Toulemonde, sophomore Sammy Harrison and senior Aya Fujimura placed ninth in the event with a time of 7:30.15.

The Beavers finished the night in eighth place with 86 points. The Pac-12 Championships will continue tomorrow with preliminaries at 11 a.m. and event finals at 6 p.m.
