Oregon State University’s own Ken Simonton will be leading a team of current Beaver student-athletes on a Beavers Without Borders (BWOB) service trip to the Dominican Republic, June 15-23. Simonton, a former All-American football player (1998-2001), will lead a roster of  student-athletes representing the football, women’s basketball, women’s soccer and wrestling teams.

The fifth BWOB adventure consists of a construction project (typically a house or school).  The BWOB crew will stay in the homes of local residents throughout their stay, as was the case generally in the four previous BWOB service projects to Guatemala (watch the video) twice, Macedonia and Ethiopia.

To sponsor the trip ($30,000) or a student-athlete ($2,500), please contact Kyle Bjornstad at 541-737-9693. You can also contribute your tax deductible donations online.
