Former Oregon State football players Brandin Cooks, Scott Crichton and Rashaad Reynolds have been invited to the NFL Combine, Feb. 19-25 in Indianapolis. The event is broadcast live by the NFL Network -- times listed below.
Cooks, the 2013 recipient of the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s most outstanding receiver, was the Beavers’ second consecutive consensus All-American after shattering several Pac-12 and school records, including for single season receptions with 128 and single season yards with 1,730 (NCAA leader in 2013).
Crichton made 165 career tackles for the Beavers, including 51 tackles-for-loss (3rd at OSU for a career) and 22.5 quarterback sacks (4th at OSU). The Tacoma, Wash., native was named a 2013 Pac-12 Conference Second Team honoree and was a First Team member in 2012 and an Honorable Mention pick in 2011. Crichton started 37 of 38 career games after redshirting in 2010.
Reynolds was a standout cornerback for the Beavers, starting 38 consecutive games and earned the MVP of December’s Sheraton Hawai’i Bowl after scoring two touchdowns. He concluded his collegiate career with 218 tackles and 10 interceptions. The native of Pacoima, Calif., was a Pac-12 Second Team honoree in 2013 and Honorable Mention in 2012.
Deposits are being accepted for 2014 OSU season tickets for home games that include Portland State, San Diego State, Washington State, Arizona State, California, Utah and Oregon.
