MOSCOW, Idaho – Sophomore Sammy Harrison and senior Crystal Kibby combined for four first-place finishes, as the Oregon State swimming team faced Idaho Saturday afternoon in Moscow, Idaho.

Harrison won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:01.13 and took first in the 1,000 freestyle at 10:12.85, while also finishing second in the 100 freestyle (52.89). Kibby placed first in the 200 breaststroke with a mark of 2:19.55, before winning the 200 IM in 2:07.15. She also placed third in the 100 breaststroke at 1:05.53.

As a team, the Beavers fell to the Vandals 188-86.

Senior Aya Fujimura took first in the 100 butterfly (56.98) and second in the 200 butterfly (2:06.26). Sophomore Amani Amr finished second in the 200 backstroke (2:07.38), while freshman Czsarina Isleta tallied third and fourth-place finishes in the 200 breaststroke (2:25.27) and the 100 breaststroke (1:06.89), respectively.

Freshman Brooke Meyer finished third in the 200 butterfly (2:09.58). Sophomore Constance Toulemonde placed fourth in the 200 freestyle (1:56.59), while freshman Taylor Frank took fourth in the 1,000 freestyle (11:00.55). Jesikah Cavanaugh took fourth in the 200 butterfly (2:11.09) and classmate Sophie MacEwan placed fourth in the 50 freestyle (24.63).

The Oregon State team of Amr, Kibby, Fujimura and MacEwan finished third in the 200 medley relay (1:47.16), while the squad of freshman Andrea Young, Amr, Toulemonde and MacEwan placed third in the 200 freestyle relay (1:37.62).

The Beavers will return to action Saturday Feb. 1, when they return to the state of Idaho to take on Boise State.
