Corvallis, Ore. – Oregon State freshman Kathryn Baker was named a Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention, as released by the Pac-12 Conference on Tuesday.

A Vancouver, B.C. native, Baker came to Oregon State along with five other freshmen. Baker immediately found her way into the back line as a center back and became a force to reckon with throughout the year.

Baker started and played all 20 of Oregon State’s games this season and recorded 1,832 minutes, the second most on the team. She is also the only Beaver honored as an All-Conference selection after the 2013 season.

Baker is one of 11 players around the conference selected as an Honorable Mention, and just one of four freshmen chosen to be honored beyond the All-Freshman Team. She will return to next year as a sophomore for the Beavers.
