Beavers Rank 11th in Coaches Poll

Corvallis, Ore. – The Oregon State wrestling team earned an 11th place pre-season ranking by the USA Today/NWCA/AWN Division I Coaches Poll, as announced Friday.

The Beavers finished the 2012-13 season with an 11-4 record, claiming their second consecutive Pac-12 Championship. The ranking is based on a team’s dual meet strength, and upon voting, Oregon State received 287 points.

16.   Iowa State
17.   Bloomsburg
18.   Northern Iowa
19.   Michigan
20.   Wisconsin
21.   Northwestern
22.   Lehigh
23.   Purdue
24.   Central Michigan
25.   Maryland

Oregon State will face five of these top-25 ranked teams throughout the season, including Minnesota, Oklahoma, Michigan, Lehigh, and Central Michigan.
