CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State baseball team will close out its fall slate of workouts Saturday with a 2 p.m. PT scrimmage at Goss Stadium. The workout is open and free to the public.
The Beavers were recently announced as having the fifth-best recruiting class, on campus, in the country, by Baseball America. Oregon State also returns 60 percent (18-of-30) of its home runs and 57 percent (197-of-345) of its runs batted in from a year ago.
The Oregon State staff returns 35-of-52 victories (67.3 percent), 357 2/3-of-587 innings (60.9 percent) and 248-of-447 strikeouts (55.4 percent) from its totals a year ago.
