OREGON STATE – 2014: Richard is the Beavers’ lone returning starter at receiver … named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List given annually to the outstanding college receiver … continues to have a grasp on the starting split end job despite working through illness and then a nagging injury during spring practice … has deceptive speed … widely considered to have the best hands on the team … proficient at playing the ball in the air winning jump balls on a regular basis … reminiscent of 2005 Biletnikoff Award recipient Mike Hass. 2013: Missed all of spring practice while rehabilitating offseason shoulder surgery … won the starting job at split end during fall camp … second on the team with 52 receptions and 788 yards … turned 37 out of his 52 receptions into first downs or touchdowns … had career game with seven catches for 142 yards and a touchdown at Utah … made career-long 46-yard reception at Washington State … played through a turf toe injury during the second half of the season. 2012: Richard was the second-string split end behind Markus Wheaton … made first career catch on a 14-yard gain at BYU … filled in for an injured Wheaton at Washington with four receptions for 70 yards, including a season-long 45-yard catch … made his first career touchdown grab against Nicholls State. 2011: Redshirt.

THOUSAND OAKS: Rated the 67th-best prospect in California per Rivals … Parade All-American … CIF South Section Second Team … Los Angeles Times All-Area, All-Ventura County and Maxpreps.com First Team All-State … U.S. Air Force All-American … named the CIF South Section Player of the Week following the first round of the 2010 playoffs after catching 12 passes for a total of 163 yards and one touchdown in the Lancers’ 28-21 win over Quartz Hill … as a senior he had 122 receptions (state record) for 1,709 yards and scored 20 touchdowns … in the CIF-SS quarterfinals, he had 19 catches (school record) for 303 yards and three touchdowns against Oaks Christian … averaged 17 yards per punt return and 23.5 yards per kickoff return …made 37 tackles on defense and six interceptions …  as a junior he had 80 catches for 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns … named First Team All-Ventura County (WR of the Year), First Team All-CIF and MVP and All-State Junior Team … also played basketball, where he was an All-Marmonte Second Team selection as a senior.
